is a holistic center that is incluSive of all the members of the Rockaways and the surrounding community. Our programs were created to involve both our senior and youth population that share this great peninsula as a whole.

Arverne by the bay community center or ABBCENTER for short has four major programs in its arsenal to combat boredom and restlessness in this great beach community. These programs are as follows;

Legal Research Laboratory:

By June 2010 we will house close to twenty five computers fully equipped with adaptive keyboards and software to aide and service clients with disabilities and other learners that require adaptive technology to use a computer. WE have 10 Macintosh Mini’s and 15 PC running Windows 7 software. We specialize in Zoomtext, Kurzweil Software products and entire host of AT software for the struggling learner of any age.

OPERATES Monday-Friday from 9am-3pm by APPOINTMENT ONLY

Assessments cost $75 dollars for either Workplace or Educational Setting

and YES we ARE ATP CERTIFIED with RESNA
